BusinessCom has taken an important step in further professionalizing its organization. The company has established a clear management team designed to lay the foundation for sustainable growth and an even stronger level of service for its clients.
At the head of the organization is CEO Pieter van Eldonk, who has been shaping BusinessCom’s direction for the past two decades. Under his leadership, the management team has been expanded and structured as follows:
• Rob de Zwart will act as Chief Commercial Officer Netherlands (CCO), responsible for all commercial activities, propositions, and market growth.
• Marcel Derks serves as Chief Operational Officer (COO), taking end-to-end responsibility for operational execution, including procurement, logistics, and service.
• Janneke van Eldonk has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), overseeing the company’s financial health, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• For the Belgian market, Remco Bakkeren takes on the position of CCO Belgium & Luxembourg, marking the establishment of a solid international management structure.
• Pieter van Eldonk remains CEO of BusinessCom.
Foundation for Growth
Pieter van Eldonk explains why this step is being taken now: “BusinessCom is in a strong position. We have talented people, a healthy market presence, and a wealth of expertise. This step allows us to build the foundation for the next 10 years of growth. It enables us to take the organization to the next level. For our business partners, vendors, and employees, it’s important that we further refine our structure. By clearly defining responsibilities now, we ensure that knowledge is shared more effectively, that we are less dependent on individual experts, and that we operate as a unified organization. This makes us more agile, efficient, and better equipped to continue delivering the quality and speed that our partners have come to expect from us.”
In addition to the management team, BusinessCom operates with a layer of departmental coordinators who manage the day-to-day operations of the various teams across commercial, operational, and support functions. They serve as the vital link between strategy and execution.
This restructuring aligns with the broader ambition that BusinessCom aims to achieve in the coming years. In 2027, the company celebrates its 25th anniversary, a milestone that, according to Pieter van Eldonk, coincides with a new phase of growth. “Our ambition remains as strong as ever.
