Spectralink is launching a new generation of IP-DECT technology with the S1000, a global IP-DECT Server/Base Station that fundamentally changes how partners purchase, deploy, and manage DECT solutions.
Simplicity for Partners and Customers
The S1000 and accompanying Enterprise Software Plan have been specifically developed to make DECT easier for partners. Whether it’s sales, provisioning, installation, or management – the new platform simplifies all processes. Unlike previous models, advanced software features and Software Assurance are no longer installed on the S1000 unit itself. Instead, the Enterprise Software Plan license is added via AMIE Advanced for IP-DECT, allowing customers to benefit from continuous innovation through regular software updates and technical support.
Comprehensive Functionality in One Package
The Enterprise Software Plan per user license includes all IP-DECT Server software features from the latest release (PCS25Ca), including the award-winning, feature-rich Microsoft Teams integration. Additionally, the system offers advanced alarm message handling with granular location provided by third-party iBeacons and High Availability with the Redundancy 2.0 feature for load balancing and fail-over.
AMIE Advanced for IP-DECT provides full lifecycle management for the S1000, while Software Assurance guarantees new software updates and software technical support. Software Assurance is available with terms of one, three, or five years.
Flexible Deployment
Implementation is remarkably simple: the Enterprise Software Plan license string sent from Spectralink order management is all you or your customers need to set up a new AMIE account or add to an existing AMIE account. Via AMIE and Spectralink cloud services, the S1000 can be converted from an IP-DECT Base Station (the default mode “out of the box” that connects to any Spectralink IP-DECT/DECT Server) to a full-fledged IP-DECT Server.
Scalability for Large Organizations
The S1000 offers impressive scalability, supporting up to 1,000 base stations (1000x S1000) and up to 4,000 Spectralink DECT handsets. This capacity makes the platform ideally suited for large enterprises and complex deployments.
Availability
