On October 10th, the very first BusinessCom International Partner Day was held, specially organized for BusinessCom’s business partners from the Nordics and Baltics. More than 30 business partners traveled to the Netherlands for this special event.
BusinessCom has been active for several years now as a telecom and IT distributor in the Northern European region. The business is growing and so is the number of business partners that we work with. That’s why it is the perfect time to organize a partner event for our valued partners from this part of Europe.
Tour of BusinessCom
After a pleasant evening with traditional Dutch “stamppot” dishes, the International Partner Day kicked off on October 10th at BusinessCom’s headquarters in Veghel. After the welcome speech by CEO Pieter van Eldonk, the business partners were given a tour of the BusinessCom office and warehouse. Some BusinessCom colleagues gave brief presentations explaining their working methods.
PSV Football Stadium
At the end of the morning, the group traveled by coach to the PSV Stadium in Eindhoven. After lunch, Claes Kolare, Managing Director of Mitel Sweden, spoke about the relationship between BusinessCom and Mitel. Additionally, Bernard Burton and Dominique Fontaine from Mitel, discussed the current trends and challenges in their presentation ‘The State of the UC Market’.
Power Pitches from Leading Vendors
A key part of the afternoon program was the power pitches from the vendors whose solutions BusinessCom delivers in the Nordics and Baltics. Ascom, VTech, Spectralink, Zoom, Pridis, Omada by TP-Link, and again Mitel gave short presentations providing insights into their portfolios and market approaches. Before the International Partner Day concluded with a walking dinner in the evening, the business partners were treated to an exclusive tour of the stadium. A significant number of the international guests also attended the Mitel Technical Partner Conference the following day.
