Zoom has made ‘My Notes’ generally available – an AI-driven note-taking tool that turns meetings on any platform into actionable documents and follow-ups. A valuable addition for customers using Zoom Workplace.
Take notes regardless of the platform
My Notes works not only within Zoom, but also during meetings via Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or even in-person sessions. Users automatically receive a tailored meeting summary, regardless of where the conversation takes place.
During the meeting, AI Companion can supplement manual notes with the generated transcript, filling in gaps and highlighting key points – without the user having to review everything afterwards.
From notes to results with AI Companion 3.0
After a meeting, AI Companion 3.0 takes over. From the web environment, users can directly:
- Check off tasks based on notes and linked documents
- Automatically draft follow-up emails, project plans, or status updates
- Convert notes into documents using templates such as Brainstorming, 1:1, or Customer Discovery Call
This significantly speeds up follow-through and reduces the time employees spend on administrative processing after meetings.
Relevance for ICT resellers
My Notes is available by default for Zoom Workplace users. AI Companion 3.0 is also available as a standalone subscription.
For resellers, this presents a concrete upsell opportunity: customers already using Zoom but who have not yet activated AI Companion can immediately benefit from productivity gains without a significant implementation barrier.
